Upcoming Fellowship Opportunities


*Feb 7, Sun, 6:00 pm, The Gospelmen in Concert: Do you like good Southern Gospel music & good 4-part harmonies? Be it the new sounds or the old classic quartet music, The Gospelmen can do it all! They will be a freewill offering collection for their continued ministry. So if you want to have a great time and receive a blessing as well, come out and see the Gospelmen!

*Feb 13, Sat., 8:00 am, Men’s Promise Keepers Breakfast and Fellowship at Ruth Ann’s Kitchen in Corunna

*Feb. 13, Sat., 2:00 pm, Secret Pal Revealing, bring snacks to share. The ladies will be drawing new Secret Pals for a year of exchanging cards and praying for our Secret Pals. Please be present if you wish to participate. Thank you.

*Feb. 20, Sat., 8:00 am-3:30 pm, TEAM Day 2010 is just around the corner at the Perry Public Schools. Please go to www.minaz.org and click on the Michigan Tri-district TEAM Day 2010 button on the left side to download your Registration form. After filling out these forms please give them to Toby, along with your registration cost. Please make checks out to Corunna Church of the Nazarene. This money will be given to our treasurer and a check will then be sent to the district. There are over 90 workshops. Each person is responsible to pay for their registration. Early Bird Registration Deadline postmarked by January 25, 2010 is $25 for adults. Final Registration Deadline postmarked by February 1, 2010 is $35 for adults.

*Feb. 26, Fri., 7:00-9:00 pm, Game Night at the church. Bring games, puzzles, and snacks to share. Come and enjoy the fun, food, and fellowship.

*Mar. 14-15, Sun.-Mon., Michigan Tri-District Holiness Summit, Saginaw Valley Church of the Nazarene, 1815 Tittabawassee Rd., Saginaw, MI 48867 (989) 754-7416, church phone. Evening service on March 14 has been lifted so all may attending the Holiness Summit. Coffee & cookies are at 5:30 pm; service begins at 6:00 pm. Monday’s schedule includes: 8:30 am - coffee & pastries; 9:00 am – service with Brett Rickey; 10:15 am – morning break; 10:45 am – service with Mark Quanstrom; 12:00 pm – lunch on your own; 2:00 pm – service with Dan Bohi; 3:30 pm – adjournment. There is no fee for the Summit, however freewill offerings will be taken.

*Help needed! Please see Pastor Mike or Toby if you could help clean the church on a weekly voluntary basis. Thank you.

*Supplies needed: The following supplies are always needed for the various functions of the church: coffee (decaf and regular), creamer, sugar packets, sweetener packets, hot chocolate, napkins, plastic forks and spoons, Paper/Styrofoam plates, and 39 gallon trash bags. Your donations are appreciated.

*District Mission Projects: We are nearing our goal end date for the District Mission Projects for adults and teens. Please try to have your monies in by the end of February. To date we have received $80.00 for the adult project and $31.00 for the teen project.

*Mission Reading Books: Remember to see Kris Prince for a book, tape, or CD. Several have reached the “six-book club” and several more are nearing that point.

*Alabaster Offering is coming quickly in February. Are you boxes getting filled up??

*Urgent Prayer Request: Haiti Earthquake Please pray for the people of Haiti. This is the time to continue to pray that God would give strength to those holding onto life and hope that those trapped may be found quickly. Continue to pray that food and water gets to the people and that God would give them strength during this time.
