The Memorial Roll, established in 1919, is a way to honor deceased friends and loved ones. A certificate is issued in the name of the person memorialized and is often presented to a family member or displayed in the church. Churches or individuals may place as many names on the Memorial Roll as they desire, and those memorialized need not be members of the church. The cost to purchase a Memorial Roll is just $50.
The proceeds from the purchase of the Memorial Roll is used to pay for health care insurance for our missionaries serving in other countries. Currently, North American insurance companies will not insure our citizens serving in other countries. The cost of insuring missionaries is a whopping $2.9 million a year!
What better way to honor the memory of a loved one than to enable a servant of God to diligently, peacefully work in the mission field, knowing that in the event of a medical situation, they and their family will not have to worry because faithful, caring people have provided for them? Your donation allows them to go about doing God's business without having to worry about what will happen if they become ill or injured.
