Corunna Church of the Nazarene
Let us not give up meeting together...let us encourage one another...all the more as you see the Day approaching. HEB 10:25, NIV

Worship may be glorious and inspirational, but you cannot create discussions or develop interpersonal relationships while sitting in the pews.

I see Sunday School as an exciting filling station’ at the end o f a demanding week. Sunday school is a welcoming place of learning and support for children, youth and adults. It is a safe, engaging place where people can open up, learn, feed and be fed for their spiritual journey.”

We need once again to reclaim Sunday school as a great opportunity, a great tool, for helping to make disc iples of Jesus Christ.

“Sunday school is the 'combo meal deal’ at church!”  Ya think maybe we should MEGA-SIZE it?

Teens Teacher: Pastor Mike

The purpose of Teen Sunday School is to equip teens to live lives that Glorify Jesus Christ. We meet each week for practical teaching from God’s Word and personal accountability in a small group setting. Not only does this allow us to get to know each other better, but it provides a great opportunity to discuss how to personally apply the Sunday School lesson.

Adults Teacher:  Anita Karianen

We are using the current NPH curriculum:

A Message from Heaven/A Mission on Earth: The Gospel of Luke:
Prepare for the celebration of Christ's coming as we look at the events of the Nativity through the eyes of Luke. We will then focus on Luke's account of the message and ministry of Jesus, and continue the exploration of Luke's Gospel as Christ communicates and passes on His mission of evangelism and compassion.  This class meets upstairs at the back of the sanctuary.

Children's teacher: Kris Prince

DARE TO CARE!

This is an outreach ministry of Corunna Church of the Nazarene. Volunteers gather every Monday evening 7:00 to 8:30 pm to care for others in the name of Jesus. This ministry includes visiting people in their homes, writing notes of encouragement, making phone calls, mentoring new believers, and praying for needs. Dare to Care ministry is an opportunity for laypeople to be actively involved in ministry. You are all needed and appreciated!  Please use Sign up Sheet on the bulletin board in the foyer.

Dare-To-Care is "Loving, Caring, and Sharing with a warm heart in the Name of Jesus as a daily way of life!" It is God's people doing what we do best – loving people in His Name. You will find Excitement, Big Blessings, and so much more!
