Worship may be glorious and inspirational, but you cannot create discussions or develop interpersonal relationships while sitting in the pews.

I see Sunday School as an exciting filling station at the end of a demanding week. Sunday school is a welcoming place of learning and support for children, youth and adults. It is a safe, engaging place where people can open up, learn, feed and be fed for their spiritual journey.”

We need once again to reclaim Sunday school as a great opportunity, a great tool, for helping to make disciples of Jesus Christ.

“Sunday school is the 'combo meal deal’ at church!”  Ya think maybe we should MEGA-SIZE it?

Children's Teacher: Kris Prince

We are studying the Armor of God and how to use to defend our life and walk with Jesus so we can stand up strong against the devil.

Adults Teacher: Anita Karianen

We are using the current NPH curriculum:

<>

Unit 1: This unti prepares the student to “Run the Entire Race” by letting God speak to our hearts, and get better acquainted with Jesus Christ to give purpose and power to our lives. Students will be studying about Paul’s race that he ran all the way to the end.

Unit 2 is “The better way” as recorded in Hebrews. God is teaching us about the better revelation, humanity, leader, rest, High Priest, covenant, sacrifice, confidence, way, discipline and witness. There is so much to learn, gain and practice day by day with the help of the Holy Spirit. molding us into better children of the Living God.

The class meets upstairs in the back of the sanctuary. One of two classes offered for our adults.

Young Adults - Taught by Darlene Seymour

Misguiding Lights?

In this book we are studying many different religions.  We discuss the similarities and differences of Mormonism, Jehovah's Witness, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Unity, New Age, Transcendental Meditation, Unification Church, Scientology, and Satanism and compare them to Christianity.   Highly interesting and engaging!
